Sonic for Hire visits Casino Zone
Dec 17th
In this episode, Sonic teams up with various other mascots in order to break into the Casino zone. It’s a two parter, as far as I can tell, and the second episode should be coming soon!

The brawler “Anarchy Reigns” for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is hit by a new delay: It will now come on July 3rd in the U.S., July 5th in Australia and one day later in Europe. While this is bad news, hopefully the extra time is used for polishing the game even further!

Yakuza: Dead Souls trailer shows you many ways to kill zombies
Dec 15th
This trailer of Yakuza: Dead Souls tries to answer one very simple question: How do you kill a zombie. The answers it comes up with are to some extent what you’re used to from other games. On the other hand, I don’t know a single game were you hit a grenade with a baseball bat and shoot it right into a monster, so they get a point for originality!

Sonic CD is really cheap on iTunes!
Dec 15th
I just checked on iTunes how much Sonic CD is going for and to my personal surprise, it was much lower than originally announced by Sega! Instead of costing $5 or 4€, it’s down to two bucks. Don’t know wether or not that is just a price cut for the first few days or that plans have changed and this is the new price.

Dec 14th
“PlayStation Game music” is a new service for select mobile devices in Japan where you can buy music from videogames. Among the first third party soundtracks are Yakuza and Phantasy Star Portable 2. This is great news and I really hope this makes it to the West too!

Watch CRUSH3D’s story trailer… wait, it has a story?
Dec 14th
Even though I think that most puzzle games don’t need a story (with the exception of Portal), CRUSH3D has one. You can have a glimpse at it in this trailer. The game will be coming out for the Nintendo 3DS on January 10th in the United States and three days later in Europe.
Also, dear videogame publishers: Don’t put numbers in words. It’s not cool. It never was. No, not even in the 90′s!

Kazuma Kiryu is in Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita… if you want him to
Dec 14th
Yeah, he’s not really in there, I know. Still Sega demonstrates that you can use one of the PlayStation Vita functions to use a picture of him and use it as a face for your own character. Technically, that means you can integrate pretty much anyone into the game. This will most likely lead to a lot of virtual tennis matches between Hitler and Stalin, but I know what I’m going to do with it… I’ll integrate the entire crew of Sega-Addicts!
Check out more pictures of the process and examples in the source!
