Wreck-It Ralph, Disney’s 52nd animated feature due for release in Nov 2012, follows the story of the titular character Ralph, an old-school arcade game villain, as he embarks on a quest to prove his worth as a video game hero. The film is being coined by many as a video-game ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit‘ due to the appearances of numerous iconic video game characters, including Sega’s very own Dr. Eggman. Scans from the spring issue of Disney Magazine D23, originally appearing on DVDizzy forums, clearly show non-other than the infamous Dr. Eggman sharing the screen with Super Mario’s Bowser, Street Fighter’s Zangief and even what looks like Mega Man’s Dr. Wily. How these characters will interact with each other is yet to be seen, but it’s certainly got me excited. What other iconic characters, both hero and villain, would you hope to appear in the film? Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t mind seeing B.D. Joe’s silver screen debut…
