It’s like the RPG but without the gameplay: Hyperdimension Neptunia anime series confirmed

Despite the somewhat sarcastic title for this article, I am actually anxious for this anime. Very few RPGs have made me laugh out loud while reading through or watching the cut-scenes, and Hyperdimension Neptunia on the PS3 actually accomplished said task. With its interesting take on the video game industry, HDN could easily expand into an Anime with decades of history for call-backs and inside jokes. Unfortunately nothing more is known about this Anime other than Compile Heart confirming its production with the announcement being made in Dengeki PlayStation (a Japanese magazine). Anyone else excited to see how far the video game playground war will be taken?
