Amazing Mushroom Hill Zone video is amazing
Seriously, just watch this. It’s super impressive what people can do now a days and this HD re-imagining of the first level in Sonic 3 looks just beautiful. The video itself was uploaded by youtube user ‘BlobVanDam‘ who obviously put a lot of work into it.
Man, I hope something real comes out of this, because I actually prefer it to the artstyle of the upcoming Sonic 4, myself. What do you think? Tell me if your inner soul demands I must know your opinion!

You smell that Sega? Yeah, it’s called a “Comeback with Attitude”.
Here’s the plan boys:
1. Take and contact said man who made video
2. Focus on 3D HD remakes of older Sega Genesis series.
3. Make a NEW console that supports the said 3D and can even OUT DO the PS3, XBOX 360! (The Wii doesn’t count.)
4. ???
5. PROFIT.
This sir, right here prints money. Just make it happen boys and us Sega fanfantics will jump on it like honey to a bear. (Couldn’t think of a better idiom here obviously..)
On that note if Phase 3 doesn’t work go PSN/XBOX Live! Everyone will jump on that quick!
…and DON’T FORGET TO DO A REMAKE OF SHINING FORCE TOO.
Only post that I saw useful to recreate the original Shining Force and make it HD calling the title:
“Shining Force 3D HD” (Hell it’s already 3D in battles WHY NOT take it a step futher and go ALL THE WAY 3D?!

It may not work completely the overall plan but that’s what PR/Marketing are there for. Adlibing things on the go.

That was beautiful. At first I thought it was just going to be a MHZ speedrun or something but this is really amazing. It’s almost like claymation. I wish it were a real HD remake.

I don’t prefer either style really.
(This style or the one used in Sonic 4.)
Maybe it’s because the colours used in this stage seem to be subdued.
