Jul 5th
Bandai Namco Games have released the above advert on their youtube site, ‘And what game could this possibly be for?’ I hear you cry, well only the most awesome cross over RPG possibly every made, ever; Project X Zone.
The short video for Project X Zone (pronounced Projectu-Crusse-Zoone according to the video…) shows off some Megaman blasting, Zero sword spinning, Ulala ulalaling gameplay action and, most importantly, boobies!
Oh Japan, why do you tease us so..?

Project X Zone gets its first screens
Apr 13th
While some may be pretty disappointed that Project X Zone turned out to be an RPG, these first screens, courtesy of Andriasang, look great. The spritework looks fantastic, with a great mix of colors. The game is a collaboration between Bandai Namco, Sega and Capcom and mixes a lot of rather obscure characters from those different companies. There hasn’t been an announcement yet whether or not it will make it to the West, but hey, Tatsunoko versus Capcom made it over here too…
Countdown added to Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco cross-over teaser site
Apr 4th
The teaser site for the still unknown Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco cross-over collaboration game for the Nintendo 3DS has had an ominous countdown clock added to it, which is calculated to end on midnight, the 12th of April.
We originally reported the creation of the site at the end of February which featured nothing but three, developer-labelled petri dishes. Then on March 1st we reported that each of these petri dishes contained pixelated chromosomes. Now it would seem as though the genetic experiment has either been stolen, or has escaped by itself. It stands to reason that once the counter reaches zero, we’ll have some juicy news for all you Sega Addicts. Felling speculative? Let us know your thoughts below!

Banpresto labs plan for Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco genetic hybrid
Mar 1st
About a week ago we reported the appearance of a new Japanese website teasing at a new Banpresto-developed 3DS game involving a collaboration between Sega, Capcom and Bandi Namco. The website has been somewhat expanded to reveal that the encircled developer logos are in fact cell culture dishes, each containing three different, pixelated, mitotic chromosomes.
Although nothing substantial has been revealed, it does allow for further speculation. These developer-chromosomes are currently isolated, but what will happen when they are introduced to one another? Will a chromosome crossover event occur, spawning new recombinant developer-DNA containing the best traits from each developer? Or perhaps a spontaneous mutation will result in something far more unique and exciting. We’ll have to keep out microscopes focused on this one for now.
