Eddie Lebron’s Sonic fan film to debut at MAGFest 2013
Oct 5th
With two years in the making behind him, Eddie Lebron is finally set to debut his Sonic the Hedgehog fan film at next years MAGFest. The film is set to be screening throughout the whole festival (which takes place January 3rd-6th), with an online release following on the 9th. You can watch the movies latest trailer here and read up on MAGfest itself here.
The movie itself is 25 minutes long and serves as a prequel to the Sonic canon. It even features the voice of Jaleel White which also gives the movie another layer of indulgent fan service. But do all these elements necessary make a good movie? Only time will tell but for now we can only hope.

New Wreck-It Ralph posters showcase Sonic and more
Sep 18th
With Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph making it’s way to US cinema’s on November 2nd, it seems that the Disney hype machine is in full force. And along with a great new trailer that was recently revealed Disney has dispatched a verity of cameo themed posters featuring a few of the various game characters referenced in the movie.
Sonic even takes centre stage in one of the posters alongside Zangief and Jane Lynch’s character from the fake game Hero’s Duty. Other Sega characters star in these new posters as well, such as Dr. Robotnik and the final boss of Altered Beast. Yes really, in what perhaps is the most obscure reference to make it on a mainstream movie poster, Neff from Altered Beast appears at the front of a Disney advertisement. Pinch me.
But what’s the point of this post if you can’t even see the posters? Hit the jump to see how Sega’s characters are being marketed for this latest Disney adventure!

Eddie Lebron releases new Sonic fan film trailer
Jun 18th
Did you ever see Eddie Lebron’s Megaman fan film? It was OK I guess. Pretty impressive for a fan film anyway. I only bring this up because he seems to be stepping into the fan film scene once again with his new Sonic the Hedgehog movie. What’s more is that he has released a new trailer which you can see above. As you can tell Jaleel White voices Sonic which I personally like, his voice is always welcome in Sonic as far as I’m concerned.
The trailer also shows off some of Sonic’s animations, and showcases Robotnik’s role in the movie. So what did you think of this trailer? Are you excited or apathetic? Well you only have a short time to think because the movie is indeed out this Summer. Before then what is your opinion though? Let me know in the comments!

Wreck-It Ralph trailer confirms Robotnik cameo
Jun 10th
Whilst we did tell you about this a while ago, it only seems appropriate to post the trailer for the actual movie while it’s new. For those of you not in the know however, Disneys new movie features an appearance by Robotnik (or Eggman or whatever you kids call him now), in a scene with various other videogame villains as well. You can spot him at about 1 minute into that video if you want to skip most of the trailer.
But then again even the other stuff in that trailer looks awesome anyway. A Disney made videogame movie? Yes please. Even without Robotnik this is something I’ll be sure to keep my eye on.

It seems that Sega has had it’s fingers up the Aliens franchise for a while now. Apr 19th
Way back in the distant year of 2003, no one could have guessed that a director known as Uwe Boll would unleash the most horrfying movie onto the world. A movie so horrifying and shocking that no one has dared to watch it since (probably). Until now! Sonic fan film has a teaser trailer
Jun 24th
Did you ever hear about the Megaman movie? It was OK I guess. Either way, the team is now making a Sonic movie with the original voice of Sonic himself: Jaleel White!
As you can see from the trailer above, it looks like it will mix CG animation with live action? Yeah I don’t know either. I guess I’ll have to wait and see with this one. What about you? Are you excited for this fan movie, or could you just not care? Let me know in the comments!

Preview of Sonic movie emerges
Feb 23rd
Fans who have been following the Sonic fan film since its inception in 2005 will be glad to know that the film has ended pre-production and a preview has been released. Sonic The Hedgehog: An Animated Fan Film combines elements of the games, cartoons, and comics as it follow Sonic and friends in their quest to defeat Dr. Robotnik. Though Sega of Japan shot down a release with Universal Pictures in 2007, the project is hopeful of scoring a DVD release or another cinematic deal.
The film certainly looks promising when compared to the original Sonic The Hedgehog anime movie from 1999. Is this something you are looking forward to seeing released?

So after weeks of teasing and torment it’s finally here! The Sega Addicts Kids Table is finally ready to take on the sequel to the very awful House of the Dead movie! And what’s more is this one isn’t directed by Uwe Boll! But wait because this movie may in fact be even worse than the previous one. Oh dear…
So to help out Stevie and Josh (John is busy, more on that later), Scotty Morrison from the site decided to also take on the task of watching this horrible straight to DVD nonsense. Oh and Josh sounds like a heavily breathing robot for a good amount of this podcast. Maybe the movie was so bad that the mic decided to go all weird? Probably not. Either way if you’re ready for one hell of a frustrating zombie movie then you’ve come to the right place. Get your copies of House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim and listen along as we sigh very heavily at what we put ourselves through for you… you’re welcome…
Download it here!
Or go to our iTunes and subscribe! If you liked it then review us! That’d maybe make up for this horrible movie…
And also I just want to say thank you so much for the fans that have supported us throughout the past year. I know we just got to 50 episodes but as you can tell, John is super busy and we all thought it would be best if we took a month’s break. Don’t worry though because we’ll be back on Halloween with a special, along with Episode 51 the week after. Thanks so much and if you want to get your fix of Stevie and Josh you can always listen to The Goosebumps Book Club whenever that updates. In the meantime we’ll see you on Halloween for another terrifying treat! SpoOOOooOoooOOOoOoky!
