Sega has unveiled Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed over at IGN together with an announcement trailer and an interview with the developers of the game, Sumo Digital. The game will combine racing, flying and racing over water, which seems to be pretty familiar to Mario Kart 7. The game will include expanded multiplayer modes, Gran Prix and Battle Arena modes. It will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Platform specific features have not been announced yet. Head over to IGN for a complete preview of the game, together with a first-look video.

Team Ninja likes playing with other people’s toys. After making a pretty decent Metroid game for Nintendo and borrowing Samus for a cameo in Dead or Alive Dimensions, Team Ninja is looking fondly at Sega’s Virtua Fighter series.
The good people at VG24/7 report that Akira of Virtua Fighter fame will be making an appearance in Team Ninja’s upcoming Dead or Alive 5. Screenshots and videos have already flooded the Internet and, so far, it looks to be a good match. Hopefully this might lead to more Sega crossovers down the road.
Last but not least, North America finally gets a chance to play Team Yakuza’s latest effort! Binary Domain is finally out and if you’re into third-person shooters, this definitely is a must buy for you! The campaign is a blast and the multiplayer is solid and will be quite good if Sega fixes some issues with it. Reviews have been fairly positive so far, too! Find the full press release after the break!
So… it’s a pachinko game… on the PS3. Coming out in Japan on May 31st for ¥5,544. I guess that’s great for Fist of the North star fans… but I’m still kinda confused.
The hollow children are cybords that look human and don’t know that they are cybords. They have infiltrated a big part of human society without anyone noticing as is shown in this trailer.
I had my doubts about the game, but now that I have played 6 hours of it, I can assure you that it’s quite good!
Just as I was done playing the Binary Domain demo which is available on XBLA and PSN, this new trailer popped up and gave me even more to look forward too. It’s basically just a cutscene, but it shows you that the Yakuza team actually put some thought into the story and the universe the game has. While the writing isn’t that good, the direction sure makes up for it.
So, are you looking forward to the game now that you’ve had a glimpse at the story and played the demo?
The demo to Binary Domain, which is being released later this month, will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 15th. Wait, that’s this Wednesday! There has been a demo out in Japan for some time and the first reviews indicate that it’s quite a solid effort from the Yakuza team. Hit the jump for the full press release!
