The third part of my Renegade Ops Playthrough completes the first mission with an explosive battle on a warship. Well, all battles in this game are explosive, but still, the helicopter really kicks ass. Dont forget to check out Part 1 and Part 2!
Renegade Ops, which is already out on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade has silently been delayed until October. it was originally slated for a September release, as close as possible to the other platforms.
This really strikes me as odd, as it shouldn’t be that hard to port that game, especially considering it is out for Xbox from which PC ports are pretty easy to realize…
Youtube hates me. I have tried uploading the original second part of my Let’s Play of Renegade Ops three times and it always messed up somehow. After splitting the second part in two parts, I am proud to announce my new second part of my Renegade Ops Let’s Play! Oh, and remember, we have a review up for the game. Missed Part 1? Click here!
Warning: This episode may have some minor spoilers for Renegade Ops.

Renegade Ops was a game that just popped out of nowhere for me. With all to go on but one simple logo, it was very hard to tell what kind of game it was going to turn out as. This didn’t last long as videos of an fun and fast paced twin stick shooter surfaced. And from then on I was very interested as to how this downloadable Sega published title would turn out.
So recently, John Doherty, Josh Newey and I, sat down to play together. And while we recorded our initial reactions on an upcoming podcast, what did we all think after the smoke had cleared? How did this new Sega/ Avalanche studios venture turn out? You can find out all this and more, after the jump as we all take turns to review Renegade Ops. More >
I’ve started a new playthrough of Renegade Ops, the brilliant new downloadable title published by Sega! Unlike my last Let’s Play, which was only a two-parter, I’m actually going to blast my way through the entire game, so I hope you guys will enjoy this!
Avalanche Studios, the developers of the upcoming Sega title Renegade Ops has spoken out against the ever controversial topic of DRM. In an interview with Edge, Christofer Sundberg (founder of the studio) said that ”As a developer you will never win over any fans if you constantly let everyone know how much it costs to develop a game and how much money you lose.”
He continued to say “I don’t like always-on DRM solutions at all, since they offer nothing to the consumer. If you continuously give something extra for registering and being online, and award them for actually paying for and playing your game, it’d be different, but always-on DRM only says: ‘Thank you for buying our game, we trust you as far as we can throw you.”
As Sega fans, we fortunately haven’t really dealt with DRM in the past. But as it becomes a bigger issue I’m sure we can expect to hear more about it soon. So what do you think? Are the Renegade Ops developers right, or are they not seeing the bigger picture? Let me know in the comments!
What’s that? Over there? Oh it looks like another fun and thrilling episode of The Sega Addicts Kids Table! And what makes this episode even better is that it’s the hurricane special! That’s right even in the eye of the storm we will bang on about the same old shit.
The shit this week being Sonic CD, Renegade Ops, and League of Legends probably. Doesn’t that sound exciting? Well then listen to it you fool!
It is no secret that I’m really looking forward to Renegade Ops, the Sega published downloadable title from the guys behind Just Cause 2. These new screens further justify my excitement, since they show off even more explosions and the beautiful graphics. IGN got their hand on the game for a video preview where they also explain the leveling-up system, so hit the jump to see it!

Renegade Ops, the Sega published multiplayer download title for Xblox Live, PSN and Steam has received another trailer that just looks bombastic. It shows off the many weapons available in the game and just looks splendid. I’m really looking forward to this title, as it seems to become one of the best downloadable titles in 2011. That’s saying a lot, since this year featured some very strong downloadable titles so far!
