If famed fan developer LakeFeperd’s recent teaser trailer got you rabid for something, anything regarding his newest project, these seven screenshots should sate your hunger for at least a few minutes.
It’s hard to glean much from such menial teaser morsels, but they do give an intriguing look at a couple of the worlds Sonic will be traversing, as well as one compass-like room that hints at the RPG elements promised at the game’s announcement.

Taiko Drum Master to be playable in Yakuza 5
Aug 10th
I don’t know how well the Yakuza demographic crosses over with the rhythm game community, but it’s still cool to see some games crossing over into other worlds. An example of this would be the recent announcement of Namco Bandai’s Taiko Drum Master making a playable appearance in Yakuza 5. A mini version of the popular rhythm title can be accessed in the game’s world through the Club Sega arcade. When selected you get a choice of three song’s which are played in the typical Taiko Drum Master gameplay fashion. The series is also represented in the game as a prize in the virtual UFO Catcher machine.
Along with this announcement comes a few screenshots of the games inclusion which you can see after the jump. More >
Valkyria Chronicles Duel set to launch on July 26th
Jul 23rd
Don’t get excited too soon because it’s worth noting that the Valkyria Chronicles franchise seems to have abandoned the West since sales proved lukewarm at best. However that doesn’t stop the franchise in Japan as the card based spin off Valkyria Chronicles Duel is due to launch in that territory through a browser based release on July 26th. Sega has also planned an Android release for the 30th with an iOS port following in August.
Screenshots have also been released which reveal a host of characters and gameplay elements. If you’re interested you can even check them out after the jump!

These Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion screens are awesome
Apr 5th
So I have to admit that I was a tad cynical when I heard that the 3DS version of Epic Mickey 2 would be inspired by the classic Mega Drive Castle of Illusion games. “Surely this must be some lame PR shlock to get me excited for what will probably be a buggy handheld port” I thought.
Well I guess I was dead wrong since these new awesome screenshots have been released. As you can see just from the header, it’s a very retro inspired game. What’s even more awesome is that it’s being developed by DreamRift, the team behind another retro inspired title for the DS, Monster Tale. The game will even follow on from the previous Illusion games as the story concerns the possible destruction of the castles from the original games.
But where are my manners! Hit the jump to see the rest of these awesome screenshots!

Sega and Arkedo unleash Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit screenshots and info
Mar 13th
Well we had an awesome trailer so it only seemed like a little while until Sega and Arkedo would grace us with some screenshots of the actual game! Today Sega put up a post on their blog which involved a bunch of screenshots and even a recipe from the developers themselves!
If that wasn’t enough they also spliced in some gameplay details like the reveal of a “sawing jetpack that can drill through walls and squash monsters into chunks”. Now that sounds really cool. The game is set to contain 10 big worlds with a literal shit ton of stuff (including weapons and costumes) to collect and do. Also there will be over 100 unique monsters to kill. Damn this sounds cool. If you think you can handle it, hit the jump to see all of the screenshots and the recipe for Arkedo’s spicy rabbit!
Cancelled Streets of Rage remake screenshots emerge
Feb 24th
Unfortunately in 2009 Bionic Commando Rearmed developer Grin was made defunct due to financial difficulties and money problems. While it’s sad for any company to close down, it may have been worse for Sega fans due to a shelved Streets of Rage remake which has been revealed in a recent post over at eurogamer.
The only information that we know of is that it was to be a downloadable title and that there wasn’t a lot of work put into it before it was cancelled. However there are still some screenshots and concept art floating about on the internet. Want to see ‘em? Go on then, hit the jump to see some lost concept art and screenshots of the working build!

Feb 17th
Not to be outdone by the unofficial leak of screenshots from earlier in the week, Sega has released a generous handful of lovely shots on their official blog, showcasing what looks like some water-logged ruins, a snowy holiday wonderland, a theme park, or perhaps some amalgam of the three.
As if these shots aren’t exciting enough, Sega also announced that Episode 2′s first gameplay trailer will be debuted on Gamespot’s website at 9AM Pacific on February 23rd.
