The Sega Addicts Kids Table: Episode 58 – Another New Years Episode
Jan 3rd
Well here we are yet again! Last year Stevie, Josh, and John gathered round to record the obligatory New Years episode of The Sega Addicts Kids Table. And exactly one year later here they are once more to indulge in what all the other podcast’s you listen to are doing too: Making a generic ‘year in review’ podcast that you’re all probably tired of already.
But don’t let that put you off as we do make our way through some pretty interesting topics, all scattered through an in depth round up of 2012′s biggest Sega releases. We also decide on our official game of the year… kind of. It’s weird. You’ll see.
Or go to our iTunes and subscribe! You could even review us if you enjoy the content we provide (or are a decent person).
And we’re back on track with Newey Needs to Knowey! Just tweet what Sega or non Sega location you’d like to see in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed to @segaaddicts. Best answer will win a monster drawing straight from Josh! Wow!
See you next Thursday!

Review: Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai
Apr 19th
For all of the PC gamers out there who are also Sega fans, this one’s for you! It’s amazing to me that I have somehow not gotten into this series. Not only is this game published by Sega, but it’s also on the PC? I should have been all over this ages ago. Unfortunately this is not the case. The review you are about to enjoy, because it’s so amazingly written, is from the perspective of an outsider to the series. So hit that jump button and read our review of Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai.
Learn about the making of Total War from Eurogamer Expo talk
Feb 16th
For those wishing to become future game developers, or wondering how a game is made the above video is very interesting to watching, granted you have 42 minutes to spare. The video was recorded at the recent EuroGamer Expo where the creative director of the upcoming Shogun 2 spoke in depth about the games history and new features.
Personally I always love seeing these types of things as you can’t really find out about the making of games as much as you can other media. Either way it’s also interesting to hear the original game came about from the people who actually made it. Interesting indeed.

Shogun 2: Total War gets a release date
Nov 14th
That’s right! Everyone’s favourite strategy game that’s not called ‘civilization’ has finally got a solid release date from Sega! Sega has recently revealed in a press release that the sequel to the 2000 game Shogun, will hit store shelves on March 15th 2011. Personally, while not a strategy fan, I can appreciate a game with good production value, which this game looks like it will have a lot of.
What about you? What do you think? Are you excited for Shogun 2: Total War or could you not care less? Tell me in the comments, guys!
