Renegade Ops on Steam fixed by recent patch
Nov 1st
For those who didn’t know, Renegade OPs recently came out on Steam. Amidst all of my excitement I was devastated to find out that I was one of the users having massive issues trying to run the game. Thanks to the magic of download able patches the game seems to now be fixed for all of those users who were having issues with it. This is great news because I’ve been dying to try out Gordon Freeman and those sexy Antlions of his.

Renegade Ops PC version having issues
Oct 28th
I think you guys know by now that I love Renegade Ops. I have been playing since the game came out on my 360, but have been eagerly awaiting its PC release. Well the day has finally come! Imagine my dismay when I attempt to launch the game and nothing happens. After a quick check on the Steam Forums it turns out this is a common problem people are having. No definite word on what is causing the crashes or when they will be fixed, but I will be waiting by my computer to download the fix and tell you guys about it.

I just checked out Steam and Renegade Ops is finally available on it! It’s not only the cheapest version, but you can also get a 4 pack and just pay for 2 copies. Then, there’s the PC exclusive inclusion of Gordon Freeman as a playable character. It’s a great package as most people I know really enjoyed the game. Heck, our own review was really positive about it!

Chances are you think I sound like a broken record right now, since this is the third time I have to write about the PC version of Renegade Ops being delayed. Until when it is delayed? No idea, the Steam store now says ‘October 2011′ and after the most recent delay it should have come out yesterday. Well, they have 11 days to release this one on time now, so let’s hope it comes soon!

Review: Space Channel 5 Part 2
Oct 12th
It’s no surprise that we here at Sega Addicts love the Dreamcast. And while we all have our favourite titles it seems that sometimes the more strange and obscure games pass us by. For example I had never really paid attention to the Space Channel 5 games mostly because they looked incomprehensible from the outset.
So what did I, a Space Channel 5 virgin have to think about it when I played it’s sequel port for XBLA? Well if you never tried a Space Channel 5 game you might want to hit the jump, as my thoughts may well mirror your own. More >

Space Siege is 75% off on Steam right now
Oct 10th
I noticed this way too late, as there are only 6 hours left for this sale,, but the Sega published Space Siege is down 75% right now. While reviews weren’t all that positive, I’d buy it for that low price point if only to check it out. Seems to be a space-themed hack’n slash as far as i can tell…
